Java (island)

(Indonesian: Jawa), area 132,000 square km, has 114 million inhabitants and is the most densely populated island in Indonesia, with 864 people per km². It is the most populous island in the world. If it were a country it would be the second most densely populated country of the world, except for some very small countries (after Bangladesh).

Java coffee

Java coffee is a coffee produced on the island of Java.
The term "Java" is sometimes used to mean coffee in general, particularly high quality coffee. For example coffee houses sometimes have the word "Java" in their name. Since the late 1990s, they may be playing off the popular Java programming language.

Java programming language

Java is an object-oriented programming language developed primarily by James Gosling and colleagues at Sun Microsystems. The language, initially called Oak (named after the oak trees outside Gosling's office), was intended to replace C++, although the feature set better resembles that of Objective C.
