Music is the key... No it's not the key. Music is a door without a key, it's a route without a guide, an intimate proposal for no one in particular...and for everyone simultaneously.
Now I am puzzled - I kind of don't get what I just said. Door, route, proposal - these things don't fit together. You wanted to know what I think about music. I hate stupid mass-consumed pop-products like Britney, BSB, Spices, and so on. These guys will emerge, prosper and die as long as the pop-culture of generally pre-accepted tastes exists. People who need to consider themselves as a part of a larger group, a society with the exactly same taste and ideals, thousands of people with no individuals among them, millions of geeks with colour- and shapeless tastes, cheap emotions, a society of identical ideals, thoughts, decisions, a society with no spontanity, a heap of similar black suites and boring blue-grey (just like the backgroung of the page) ties... The terrible, stinking society of... Whatever. Actually I feel I am getting too much into stuff I should not be getting into. What I should do, is listen to my favourite dark, mega-sad and depressing ambient - chill-out, get high, meditate and be myself.
While I write this, Jonny L's "Magnetic" is rolling. Hey, what about some Richard D. Jame's bizarre, absolutely chaotic but brilliantly perfect rhythm sets? For god's sake, stop making that big face! He is a genius! No, today everything seems more like the bird on the other side of this wall, a bird is singing on the other side of this glass... A grey bird is singing inside of your screen, the screen with a grey bird and beige letters. It's a screan, uh, a scream for survival! Orbital? Not yet. Underworld would be just right - so deep, deep. Getting somewhat more aggressive with my girlfriend - she's calling from America, she's matching, she's surfing.
Found it! Beacoup Fish and its beautiful blue cover from Tomato Art group are literally yelling, willing to be heard. Let us leave the slightly philosophic Orbital and brothers Hartnolls for later tonight when everything will get in the middle of nowhere where the girl with the sun in her head is... What is she doing? The girl seems to be wondering about her eyes - and when her head crashes against the rocks, will they be closed or open?
FSOL. System 7. Skylab. These are
a few of my favourite things. The barking dog, the stinging bee... Now, I feel
this gets too deep inside the sounds of mu.. Mus.. Music? "Museum"?
