I am a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Centre for Quantum Information and Foundations at the University of Cambridge and my research is on quantum computing and quantum information. I also hold a post-doctoral research associateship at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Previously I was a post-doctoral researcher at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.

At the moment I am a long-term visitor at CTP in MIT. I have also been a long-term visitor at QuICS in University of Maryland and twice a summer intern with the quantum group at NEC Labs in Princeton.

I have a PhD in mathematics from University of Waterloo (supervised by Andrew Childs and Debbie Leung) where I was affiliated with Institute for Quantum Computing. I did my undergraduate degree in computer science at University of Latvia. My wife Amandine Lassalle is also a researcher.
