Joint Estonian-Latvian Theory Days at Rakari

Estonian Computer Science Theory Days started in 2002 and have been organized biannually since then. In Latvia, there has been no such tradition up to now. This year, we are organizing for the first time joint Estonian-Latvian Computer Science Theory Days. The main goal of the Theory Days is to let the theoretical computer scientists of our two countries to get acquainted with the work of each other. In particular, the main audience is intended to be the graduate students in the roles of both listeners and presenters.

The event will take place near Salacgrīva in the guest house Rakari located by the sea (map1, map2), from September 30 to October 3, 2010 (from Thursday afternoon to Sunday noon).

Getting to Rakari.

Getting home: On October 3 there will be a chartered bus to Pärnu, leaving Rakari at around 13:20 and arriving in Pärnu at around 14:45. Another chartered bus will leave at the same time and arrive in Rīga at around 15:15. If necessary, the chartered bus to Pärnu can let you off at Salacgrīva or Ainaži from where there are convenient public bus lines you can take, for schedules see here.
